my suggestion is if you wanna direct and produce - get somebody to assist you, using both sides of your brain at the same time can result in hardcore stress + heammorrage = bad movie + p?ssed off cast/crew

    the credits would go thus:

    Director and Producer
    emjen

    Co-Producer or Production Manager
    Barry Soap

    1st Assistant Director
    Whanelly The Elephant

My philosophy is that as long as you have at least one dependable person, you can get any movie done. You or they may be carrying the project, but as long as you have at least 2 people that 'came to play' (so to speak), then you can get most things done in the low budget world. People power is the best currency in this.
